PRIMA Climashield XP is newcomer of 2010. This sleeping bag has HI-END shape, made of several parts. It has front part, rear part and two side parts. Result is that they make something like box. You do not have to extend the sleeping bag so much and that way compress insulating material. Sleeping bag is warmer than classic sleeping bag. It is three-colored, has two colors on outer side and the third is inside. Used cloth are HI-END, woven of Tactel, Meryl and Teflon. They are very soft and very pleasant to touch. They have high dense and higher resistance against meteorological effects, they are firm and they are pleasant to touch.

PRIMA sleeping bag labeled Polarguard 3D eco is older model. It is newly sewn of older stock materials. It has classic shape – front and rear part. It is sewn of classic materials that other producers of quality sleeping bags use as well. It is two-colored – one color on outer side and one on inner side. How to wash sleeping bags?

Wash sleeping bags in automatic washing machine. Use liquid or gel washing powder. Classic powder is not easy to rinse off, it will smell in sleeping bag and it will precipitate in seams. (If you wish to use powder then rinse sleeping bas several times.) Choose some soft program and maximum 30 to 40 °C. If possible, set the lowest speed of spin-dry, usually approx. 400 to 600 rev per minute. After washing, rinse and spin-dry dry sleeping bag in horizontal position, e.g. on folding clothehorse sold in supermarkets. There, it can dry on both sides. Do not dry sleeping bag hanged over clothesline because fibers could break in place of hanging (in case of cheap sleeping bags, it can pout down and damage). Sleeping will be dry within one day in common indoor or outdoor temperature (it is practically same as in case of cotton clothes).

 

How roll up and stock sleeping bag?

Cram sleeping bags into compress or classic covers as handkerchief into pocket. Do not roll or fold them. Rolled up sleeping bag will not fit into cover and if so, you will compress insulation more and every compressing needlessly amortize insulating material. Folding is even worse. In place of fold, insulation is extremely compressed and (except problems listed above) can pull apart.
Store sleeping bags out of cover so they can occupy as huge capacity as possible. Put them somewhere or at least hang or put into storage cover that must be several times bigger than cover for transport. If sleeping bag air out it is even better. In case of feather sleeping bags it is necessary.

Yes, it is possible to connect all types of PRIMA sleeping bags – regardless type and length, it is important that they have left and right zips.

 

How can I identify sleeping bag with left or right zip and which one is suitable for right-hander or left-hander?

Whey lying on back, on the right side there is right zip and vice versa – on the left side there is left zip. Generally, right zip is better for left-hander and left zip is better for right-hander – but it depends on habit from previous sleeping bag or individual wish of its user.
